If anyone has encountered a problem like this please chime in before I am forced to buy a New ECU for around $1400.00 just to see if the ECU itself is causing the hard fault problem. The Check Engine light comes on and it beeps until the left button on the cluster is pushed or you pull the lanyard and turn the key off and the system times out. When I crank up the boat the cruise switch faults out on both ends and you don't even have to push the switch for the faults to occur. The boat I have is a 2017 Yamaha SX 190 boat.
